On 28th May 2018, the European privacy law came into force that restricts how personal data is collected and handled. The rule, called General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR, focuses on ensuring that users know, understand, and consent to the data collected about them.

As part of that new directive, I now have to state what my policies are.

 

I never share any client details or make them public, I also never contact clients with unwanted communication or marketing offers. Only respond to incoming messages.

 

This policy describes my privacy practices – what information I collect on visitors and users, how I collect it, what I do with it, how I protect it, and your rights regarding your information.

 

By accessing or using any of my services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

I respect your privacy and discretion is paramount.

Cookies may be used by Google Analytics or by my website provider to track which pages of the website are being viewed. Whilst this allows me to see which town, city or country you are viewing it from, it doesn't allow me to see any personal details such as ISP addresses, names or physical addresses.

Any personal contact details that you share such as your health form, telephone number or email address will never be shared with anyone nor made public.

Client health forms are securely locked away and details such as mobile numbers or e-mail addresses are stored on a mobile telephone device only for responding to text, WhatsApp & email purposes. Names are stored in a dairy in order to see details about your upcoming appointments and identify returning clients when they rebook.

I will never contact you with any marketing activity nor for any other reason except to discuss an upcoming appointment you have booked. Contact will only be made if there is a problem with your booking and if I need to change or cancel it.  Any communication will be discreet and if you do not wish to be contacted by a particular method, please state this when booking.

If you wish for your personal details to be removed at any point, please text or email and this will be actioned.

All personal information is stored securely in a lockable cabinet and the mobile telephone is securely protected at all times.
